According to a UCLA study, the Supreme Court’s ruling in the California Marriage Cases will have a positive impact on at least 13,000 Asian American same-sex couples and more than 5,600 children being raised by these couples in California. AAJC and its affiliates — the Asian American Institute, Asian Law Caucus and the Asian Pacific American Legal Center —filed a brief along with more than 60 Asian American organizations in support of the right for marriage equality.
